This Thursday sees most of our professional active here in Belgium at the wonderful Royal Antwerp golf club. They are competing in the 19th PGA Championship. This is a rare opportunity of seeing our top players and teachers compete with each other in a 54 holes singles competition.

There promises to be some good golf on display as last week’s winner Laurent Richard is bidding to make an Hat Trick of Belgium victories by adding this Championship to his PGA National and the Omnium. Most of his opponents are there to try to beat him. Revenge is on the lips of the players. Former Champions such as Arnaud Langenaeken and Didier de Vooght have their own glory to think about. Arnaud is seeking his 6th victory and Didier is the defending champion.

Manoël Willems, Gérald Gresse, Gilles Monville, who finished in the 6 first professional places of last weeks Omnium, are also there.
